Yes. Bloomsbury Waste Management Ltd is a registered and licensed waste carrier. All waste we collect is transported and disposed of at authorised facilities in line with UK waste duty of care regulations.

We are based in Brighton & Hove and cover the whole of Sussex, including Worthing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lewes, Newhaven, Peacehaven, Seaford, Eastbourne, Crawley, Horsham, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, and surrounding areas.

In many cases, yes. Same-day and next-day waste removal is often available depending on location and availability. Contact us as early as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Pricing is based on the volume and type of waste, ease of access, distance from parking, and any specialist handling requirements. We provide clear, upfront quotes with no hidden charges.

Not always. As long as access is arranged in advance, we can carry out the collection without you being present. This is common for landlords, agents, and property managers.

We remove most non-hazardous waste, including household rubbish, furniture, garden waste, construction waste, office waste, plasterboard, and electrical items. If you’re unsure about a specific item, just ask.

We cannot remove hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, or medical waste. If you’re unsure whether something is classed as hazardous, we’re happy to advise and point you in the right direction.

Yes. Recycling is prioritised wherever possible. Waste is sorted and taken to licensed facilities to reduce landfill and support responsible disposal.

Yes. We are fully insured, and our team is DBS checked. This makes us suitable for working in occupied homes, commercial premises, and sensitive environments.

No. We operate as a private waste removal company. We provide an alternative when council collections are missed, delayed, unsuitable, or when you need waste removed more quickly.
